Mind, Body, Soul

A restorative weekend for the people who hold everyone else together.

Held in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Canmore, Alberta

April 2-4 & Nov 25-27, 2027

JOIN US TODAY!

You spend your days regulating everyone else's nervous system. Who's regulating yours?

If you work in healthcare, the healing arts or any practice built around holding space for others, you already know how to help someone through a crisis, name what a dysregulated nervous system looks like, and hold compassion for people at their worst.

What you may not have practiced is turning any of that toward yourself.

  • Do you know exactly what burnout looks like in a patient or client, but can't quite see it in yourself?
  • Are you fluent in everyone else's boundaries, and still find yourself unable to hold your own?
  • Have you gotten so good at composure that you've lost touch with what you actually feel?
  • Is your compassion for others miles ahead of your compassion for yourself?
  • Do you sense there's another layer of your own healing still waiting, one you keep postponing because you're always tending to someone else's first?
  • Would you like time that is entirely, unapologetically yours, with no one on the other end needing you to hold it together?
  • Do you carry other people's pain home with you, long after the day is done?

If any of this lands, we built this retreat for you.

“I cannot say enough about the Mind, Body, Soul Retreat. Dr. Chris and her team provided a wonderful environment to learn, nourish, and feed our souls in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Intentions were set, friends were made, education was provided and at the same time our souls were nourished. I took home tools that I am able to use both in practice and for my own health and healing. I look forward to the next one!”

Who is this for?

  • This retreat is for anyone in the work of healing and caring for others: physicians, nurses, naturopathic doctors, psychologists, counsellors, social workers, bodyworkers, coaches, acupuncturists, physiotherapists and practitioners of every kind, who are ready to turn the same depth of attention they give others to themselves.

    • You give your presence, expertise, and nervous system to other people for a living, and you're ready to reclaim some of that for yourself.
    • You've helped countless people find their way back to themselves, and you're overdue for your own return.
    • You're craving real connection with others who understand the particular weight of holding space professionally, not just anyone who's "busy."
    • You want to do genuine inner work, not another performative self-care weekend, and you want guides who can actually hold that depth with you.

A note on safety: this retreat is a space for peer community, reflection, and personal growth, not a clinical or therapeutic service. Confidentiality among the group is expected and honored throughout the weekend, so you can be freely authentic and open without holding onto worry or doubt. The container is sealed. You are held.

  • Anyone wanting to do some deep inner healing work and desiring some guidance on their path.

The Mind, Body, Soul retreat is for anyone craving this time away. Past participants have had incredibly rich and rewarding experiences, and walked away feeling a renewed sense of energy, purpose, clarity, and inspiration.

This retreat is a unique learning experience. Not only will you learn relevant, practical and tangible clinical information to utilise with patients right away, but you will also learn the importance of “physician, heal thyself”—a concept often missing in other professional educational courses—allowing you to put into practice what you’re learning."

Join us for an immersive weekend of nervous system regulation practices, identity and pattern work, somatic and shamanic healing modalities, and unguarded reflection, designed for people who are used to being the ones in charge of the room.

Give yourself permission to step out of the roles you play. Move from the energy of doing (diagnosing, treating, holding, fixing) into the simplicity of being. Step away from the clinical mind and the caretaking identity, and meet the person underneath it.

Gift yourself time and space, surrounded by mountains, held by a group who understands exactly what it costs to care for others professionally, and guided by three experienced healers who've done their own work in this exact terrain.

I felt lighter, more upbeat and had a more positive outlook on life after this retreat. I also felt a deep desire to continue exploring these ideas so I can continue to grow as a woman and a practitioner. I am so looking forward to next year's event!”

You’ll experience:

  • Meaningful discussions in a safe, confidential container with peers who understand the weight of this work
  • Compassionate, non-clinical witnessing, without you having to hold the space
  • Nervous system and pattern work you can actually apply back in your practice
  • Heart-inspiring writing prompts and silent spaces for reflection and privacy
  • Experiential guided journeys and soul-based teachings, for those ready to go deeper
  • Nature walks through the Rocky Mountains

We'll teach self-compassion and mindfulness practices that rebuild your self-awareness, strengthen your resilience, and reconnect you to the wisdom you spend all day helping other people find in themselves.

You'll leave with practical tools you can actually bring home: tools that make your life, and your practice, more sustainable, more meaningful, and less quietly depleting.

Our intention for this retreat is to create the conditions for you to move from surviving your work to thriving alongside it, reconnecting with the person you are outside the role of caregiver, clinician, or healer.

This is a time to reflect, relax, and recharge.

This is an invitation toward curiosity, compassion, and courage.

This experience is devoted to your well-being, self-discovery, and growth.

Learn to:

  • Bring self-compassion into your daily life, including on the days your patients or clients take everything you have
  • Increase your own capacity for self-acceptance
  • Manage your mind so you aren't at the mercy of it after a hard case, shift, or week
  • Recognize the thinking patterns that keep skilled, capable people stuck in self-sabotage, and how to shift toward empowered self-talk
  • Turn your inner critic into an inner cheerleader
  • Recognize your own triggers and reactivity: the ones that show up even when you're the professional in the room
  • Understand the anatomy of a boundary, and learn to set ones that actually hold, both at work and at home
  • Navigate past, present, and future states of mind so you can be more present in both your personal and professional life
  • Befriend your own nervous system, so you have capacity left for the people who matter to you, including yourself

You'll return home more resourced, more attuned, and better equipped to handle the demands of a life spent caring for others.

YOUR TEAM OF GUIDES:

We understand what it costs to hold space for others professionally and what it personally costs if you don’t take time out for you

Dr. Christina Bjorndal, ND

Chris is the retreat organizer. She is a naturopathic doctor trained in six counselling modalities: Gestalt psychotherapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Integrative Reprogramming Technique.

As a student of A Course in Miracles, her core mission is to help others learn to manage their minds so they aren't at the mind's mercy, using a heart-centered and soul-guided approach to healing. She creates an open space where intuition can blossom and awareness can deepen.

She is a best-selling author, international speaker, and highly regarded teacher. Having overcome significant mental health challenges of her own, she has been recognized by two independent organizations as a top ND to follow.

Dr. Julie Zepp, ND

Julie has been in full-time practice in Regina since January 2005. Alongside private practice, she leads classes, workshops, and retreats, speaks to corporate and non-profit groups, and hosts public lectures.

Over the last 16 years, Julie has expanded her healing toolkit through shamanic healing study with Jose and Lena Stevens (The PowerPath), Reiki Mastery, and extensive study of attachment theory with mentor Kimberly Barthel. She's trained through the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine and is a trauma-informed practitioner, incorporating shamanic journeying, drum journeys, Reiki, and acupuncture into her work.

Her passion is helping others reconnect with their own inner wisdom, so their "inner expert" can co-create the path forward alongside her clinical expertise and intuition.

Jill Bullock, Yoga Teacher & Self-Leadership Coach

Jill spent sixteen years working in dentistry before she recognized that her real fulfillment lived somewhere else. That recognition led her into yoga, nervous system regulation, mindset work, and self-leadership coaching, the practices that have shaped her work ever since.

She's a certified 200-hour yoga instructor and an accredited NLP practitioner, and she brings both together in her retreats: movement and breath on the mat, paired with the deeper self-leadership, identity and nervous system work of rebuilding trust with yourself. She's also a reflexologist recognized by the Reflexology Association of Canada.

Much of Jill's work is with people who've spent their lives looking after everyone else. Nurses, caregivers, mothers, high-achieving professionals whose days are built around meeting other people's needs first. On the mat and in coaching, she helps them learn what it feels like to put themselves first for once.

DR. CHRIS BJORNDAL, ND

Jill Bullock, Yoga Teacher & Mindset Coach

Let me share my journey with you. I kicked off my career in the dental realm, dedicating 16 years to it. While the health field intrigued me, I realized it wasn't where my true happiness and fulfillment resided. I had always been drawn to the holistic lifestyle, self-development and I loved yoga.

Knowing that life is brimming with opportunities that beckon us to learn and evolve, with this knowing driving me, I made a bold choice to pivot in a completely new direction. I zeroed in on my passion for holistic wellness, and mindset. I craved a deeper connection with these areas that I loved so much.

My aspiration? To engage with people on a deeply profound level, aiding them in forging a fresh, inward relationship with themselves, empowering them to create the life of their dream. I honed my skills in mindset coaching, embraced the mindful world of yoga, and delved into the stress-busting realm of reflexology. This new drive ignited a fire within me for a career where I could guide and support people who wanted real change in their life, a career that resonated on a personal level.

So, I took the leap and brought about a change. Today, I proudly stand as a certified 200-hour Yoga Instructor, an accredited NLP Practitioner, and officially recognized reflexologist endorsed by the Reflexology Association of Canada.

My mission is crystal clear: deliver a distinctive healing experience, coupled with a sincere intention to guide individuals toward holistic well-being and empowered living. I look forward to being a guide on your healing journey.

TAMING THE INNER CRITIC

There's a voice inside all of us that never stops talking, one we're often fully identified with, professional composure or not. Learn to tell the difference between the inner critic, which speaks from the egoic mind, and the inner ally, which speaks from your own wisdom.

SPIRITUALITY IN MEDICINE & HEALING

Two of your hosts are Naturopathic Doctors who understand spirituality as a core part of healing, not separate from clinical work, but foundational to it. We'll introduce these concepts and help you reconnect with your own essence, in service of your return to full physical, mental, and emotional health. Daily sessions with an experienced yoga instructor bring these same principles into the body through breath and movement, so the work isn't just something you think about, but something you actually feel and practice over the weekend.

AWAKENING YOUR INNER WISDOM

Imagine living free from the constant vigilance your work demands. Learn daily practices that build inner freedom, even outside the clinic or therapy room. By understanding your relationship to your own thoughts and emotions, you'll find the root of your own depletion, and create a compassionate shift from the inside out.

THE ANATOMY OF A BOUNDARY

Many of us are people pleasers, peacekeepers, conflict avoiders & have a hard time saying no.
Learn how to speak your truth and stand up for yourself by learning how to set boundaries like a badass.
Most of us don’t know how to set boundaries because we are taught to put others' needs ahead of our own needs.
Setting new boundaries will allow you to act from a place of intention, truth and authenticity.

CONNECTED: EMBODY SELF-COMPASSION AND SELF-TRUST TO LEAD WITH BLISS

What if you could move beyond burnout and compassion fatigue into a place of genuine bliss, contributing with greater impact, in real alignment with your purpose? We'll explore the science and lived experience of self-compassion, practices of self-parenting and inner-child work, and what it actually looks like to build a heart-centered life beyond burnout.

Guide yourself to inner peace and harmony.
